Saturn through the telescope eye. :)

This is the only telescope I have and I have it since I was like 10 years old.
It sucks, you can’t even see shit and of course its broken. One night I spend 2 hours trying to locate and focus Jupiter, not even kidding. My back and neck almost broke that day you mother fucker. But, even so….

…I love you telescopy, you let me see things from beyond this world that others can’t and won’t.

This photo has kind of a history behind it. (quick read):

That night my family and I went out for dinner. I usually bring my DSLR everywhere but that night I thought that I wouldn’t need. We went to the restaurant and the evening began. Near the end of the dinner I checked my cellphone, surprisingly I had a text from a friend. (One day -night- I was downtown hanging out with this same friend when we stumbled upon a huge group of people, they had telescopes with them. There were like 15 telescopes of all sorts and they let you look trought them to see Saturn and the Moon. They were from the local astronomic asociation. It was super awesome and nice tbh, a great surprise.) She said on the text that there was another astronomic meeting on some square near my house, that she just passed by and she thought I would like to know it. Well, she was right!

I became super excited but nervous because the text was from 2 hours ago and I didn’t know if they were still there. We were almost done with the dinner. I neededwanted to grab the camera before going there so we went straight home although I was worried about the time. I asked if someone would like to come along, no one would… but then I gave sad puppy eyes and my dad couldn’t refuse :). We rushed and we arrived, they were still there. Relief.

There were less people this time and 7 telescopes or so. I looked trought all of them of course, Saturn and the Moon again, too pretty.

There was this nice man I started a conversation with, at one point of the chat he saw my camera and said “Oh, nice camera, can I borrow it for a moment?” I said“Well, sure, of course!” and gave it to him. He took the lens out of my camera and put together its body with his telescope and said to me “Want to take a pretty picture? All yours.”. Hell yes I wanted to! This is one of the photos I was able to took (we tried Saturn too but it wasn’t possible). All I want is a good telescope to do that same thing so it was pretty exciting for me, my dad even had to drag me out of there!

I don’t know, it was kind of perfect, for me at least :) Oh god…I need a neat telescope asap.
